Innovation Ecosystem:

Triple helix innovation model. The triple helix model for innovation describes the interactions between academia, industry and government in the knowledge economy.

Quadruple helix innovation model . A fourth helix incorporates the general public in the innovation process. In our case, this includes patients, anyone receiving health-related assistance, families and society in general. Through healthcare education points and health education/promotion more widely, we seek to improve the patient experience and foster a more personalised, participative and person-centered healthcare system. We need citizens to take an active role in improving, innovating and redesigning healthcare services in order make a participative model a reality.

Quintuple Helix innovation model. A fifth helix brings in the global context and the environment in which we work, including new needs, new competencies and new professional roles. The quintuple helix model is essential for addressing global challenges such as sustainable development and climate change.
